The perfect day for couples looking to just have it be the two of them or small guest list.
Danielle and Kevin came to us looking to have a small wedding of just them and immediate family. They didn't want their guest list to be anymore than 12 including them.
They mentioned wanting to get married in Newport in front of a lighthouse or on the beach. I gave them a few options, and they decided on the beautiful Castle Hill Inn.
To assemble the perfect day for them, we met to discuss what they wanted their day to look like. My sister was the perfect fit for them for photography, and they decided to have a florist to the bridal bouquet, boutonniere, and bud vases for the table. All vendors are listed after the timeline below.
Castle Hill is known for their amazing views, drinks, and seafood so the couple opted to have signature drinks, a raw bar throughout the whole evening, and a three course meal. They chose the manhattan with Whistle Pig as the his drink, blueberry lemonade as the hers drink, and the espresso martini as the ours drink.
TIMELINE (extra time factored in)
8AM Woke up together, enjoyed a complimentary breakfast in their beach cottage then went for a run to the spa where they enjoyed massages together
1:30 PM Hair and makeup began for Danielle in the cottage while Kevin explored the Inn with his family
4:30 PM Kevin got ready in the cottage while Danielle waited in the Castle Hill Inn Volvo
5 PM Pre-ceremony cocktails and apps were served for guests on the terrace, Kevin joined them
Danielle was delivered apps and drinks to her cottage while she finished getting ready
Guests had the option to walk or take the golf cart to the ceremony
6 PM Ceremony at the lighthouse
6:30 PM Champage toast and family photos
7-8 PM Guests enjoy a cocktail hour on the terrace while Kevin and Danielle take portraits around the Inn then join the end of cocktail hour
8 PM First Dance, Parent Dances, & Cake Cutting (guests invited into private dining room)
8:30 PM Blessing and Dinner
10PM Dinner ends
